This project is located in North Abaco. It consists of the construction of a 266 foot freestanding steel girder bridge with a 12 foot clearance at the high water mark, along with an abutment on either side. The abutments consists of a combination wall of pipe and sheet piles and a reinforced concrete abutment cap and abutment coping beams. This project also requires that roadway elevations surrounding the vicinity of the bridge are raised to accommodate the increased height of the bridge and paving of the roadway.
